Believe it or not, the girl patrolling Broadway with the big gun is Laura Lindsay. She is now a big game hunter—two-legged game, that is. Janet Robertson, recently deceased, left her fortune to the foundation for Homeless Cats. See the woman in the cute uniform? That is Sue Pate. She and Bob are now rearing their own Army Division. Rex Wilson, a famous auto mechanic, offers a special rate on auto tune-ups. He never has any complaints about his work. His customers aren't able to complain—the bill he sends them makes them speechless. Charles Villines, following in the footsteps of Mr. McCharen, is now teaching Biology and Science. In his spare time he is experimenting with the goodness gland of a goat. William Tatum is a big game hunter and has hunted gophers on Salt Creek, oppossoms in Bruno Flats and is now hunting for his thirteenth wife. Merle Jay Harris must have realized part of his life long ambition. He has always wanted to be a dog sled driver--last night he came home from a date saying, Mush! Dale Liles, who recently starred in a hit western serial entitled, On The Trail, is now re- covering from over exposure to the cameras. He was on the trail six years. Rosemary Bohannon is now the head of a famous swim team. Her specialty is doing the high dive from a diving board one hundred feet high into a pool filled with buttermilk. Buddy Sims is realizing his ambition to have his own football team. He is naming the team The Asher Eleven and he is hoping to win the Dust Bowl. Joe Campbell, an excellent aeronuttical engineer, was testing the super-hidrogriper dumosidro- plane when a wasp lit on him. The super-hidrogriper dumosidroplane works, but Joe doesn't anymore. Darla Jean Ellis is proprietor of a sandwich shop on West Main. Her specialty is a triple-deck bread-and-butter sandwich. Frances Mann finally reached the height of her ambition. At the age of 93, she is a nurse in The Home For Aged Men. Bettie Hart Sanders, recently married, is the proprietor of Diapers, Inc. Her motto is Two hundred diapers a day keep the odor away. Bill Lankford, the head of United Travel Agency, is now offering cut rates to Punkin Center, and has recently issued a pamphlet on short cuts to Arkansas. Congratulations to Mary Caudill on the opening of her nursery for children from six weeks to six years. She has eleven pupils now, but no paying customers--they are all hers. Nellie Willbourn has graduated from four business colleges, and has finally settled down to a steady job--cigarette girl in Myrt's Cafe. Doris Skinner, whose marriage was planned for her when she was in the third grade, finally re- belled. She ran away from home and married a wild savage from the Belgium Congo. Van Guinn, one of Seminole Junior College's most promising young students, has finally re- ceived his degree. He has a Doctor's Degree and a BRAIN. Ted Thorn, who has received his farming degree from A M, has closed his mule barn and gone into the glue and fertilizer business. Dorothy and Florence are partners on a farm down in Texas. The farm is ten miles long and a half inch wide. They raise spaghetti. Shirley Palmer failed to make the grade with the famous Red Heads ball team. She dyed her hair with cake coloring—now she plays for the Bald Heads. That bashful little girl in English class by the name of Frances Hopper, is now campaign man- ager for the Make Maud Beautiful drive. Corkey Birdsell still thinks married life and her husband are wonderful, just wonderful! ” She Arliss, and Arliss Jr. are very happy. Bill Allen was.recently awarded a medal of honor for service above and beyond the clouds. He swore that he wouldn't come down until they disbanded the Marines. With this last bit of news, the light in the fortune teller’s crystal ball went out.
