Text from Pages 1 - 80 of the 1950 volume:

Published by the students of MAUD HIGH SCHOOL Maud, Oklahoma As you turn through the pages of this book, may you wander once more through the memories of the past years, recalling the happiest hours, the best-loved scenes, the valued friends, and may the pictures which we have cho- sen help to make your memories more vivid throughout the passing years. We proudly leave the first edition of the Tiger” with the hope that you will continue this tradition. Because of his high ideals for the better things in life; because of his efforts to pass these ideals on to our students, and because we appreciate what he has done for us, we dedicate the '1950 TIGER’ to Mr. Glenn Rhoades Industrial Arts Instructor mmam To the Students, Faculty, and Friends of the Maud Schools, Greetings: My coming into your midst may have been to some extent a coincidence. However, it was not an accident on my part. I asked for the job and privilege of supervising Maud Public Schools for the school year of 191 9-1950. While we may not have accomplished all that we had planned and hoped during the year, it is felt that con- siderable progress has been made. Taking a backward look over the year just closing, I believe that you will agree with me that some worthwhile achievements have been made. This could not have been done without the friendly coopera- tion of all concerned. For this, I am sincerely grateful. To the Senior Class of 1950, I wish to extend my heart- iest congratulations and to wish for each of you an abun- dance of happiness and prosperity. Sincerely, B.
