Let us go back and see what made this Homecoming such a good one. The Student Council was in charge of it again this year. They decorated the gym and organized the floats. The crowning of the Sweetheart of Mattoon High is another one of this year's highlights that can be credited to the Student Council. Each spring the Council plays host to the eighth graders. This party introduces the coming Fresh- men to our school.
