The students that are chosen must have an overall grade point average of 3.5, and must score no less than eighty-five percent on their evaluation in character, leadership, and service by the faculty members. The advisor for the 1987-88 members is Mrs. Kennedy. This is her second year as their advisor. This year's National Honor Society members will not have any meetings or banquets. Mrs. Kennedy said there is not enough time to engage in these types of events, since the members are currently involved in many other activities. The new National Honor Society members will be inducted in the spring of this year. Mrs. Kennedy is known for her academic skills, making her a prime candidate for advisor. 71
