Not Pictured: Janene Bohan and Denise Lindsley The Student Council at Mattawan High School consisted of thirteen students and an advisor. There were eight representatives from the senior class, three representatives from the junior class, and two representatives from the sophomore class. To be a member of this organization, the representatives had to collect twenty-five signatures, twenty-one from students and four from teachers. After that they had to be elected by the student body. The Student Council worked with the class officers to organize Homecoming and Snowcoming. They held food drives and organized an Adopt a Family program during the holiday season. They also held a Bread Lift for the March of Dimes. All in all it was a group worth watching. Kari Hall tries on the crown to be worn by the Homecoming King. Planning stages.
