Here it is, you're in the high school now You try to think of how to survive, hut you can’t figure out how. Hut the time goes by fast You’re growing up. your childhood is a thing of the past. You did it, you’re a Sophomore You know you have two more years to live for. Now you’re a Junior, you're getting close to the top You keep pushing and you never want to stop. You finally made it, you feel you’re number one. You dream of days at Lake Michigan and laying in the sun. The final day is drawing near You want to yell for joy, instead you cry a tear You real ire you don’t want it to end. Where will you go now? And what about your best friend? What’s going to happen to the memories everyone shared Will they just drift away as if no one cared? The day is here the day you dread You fight hack the rears until your name is read You walk up to the stage with your head held high They hand you your diploma, now you begin to cry You finally made it, but you still don’t realize how.
