Like all Soph- ' omores everywhere, they let everyone know that they were around by the riots that they caused in their class meetings. The projects they attempted this year were the coat check at the basketball games, and the book covers that they sold at Mattawan Q during the noon hours. JUNHORS FIRST RUN: Sharon Sherburn, Carol Stark, James Stommen, Dina Stratton, Julia VanAuken, Edna VandeLaare. SECOND RUN: Steve Vargo, Linda Whelan, Judy White , Polly Young. ABSENT MEN PICTURES WERE TAKEN: Gloria Bellinger, Wayne Nelson, Violet Phebus, Kenneth Sehlotterbaek, Lloyd Gulp. The JUNIOR CLASS like Junior Classes of the past have had their fingers into every pie. hey have held dances after games and they have held car washes in the middle of the winter. All this just to earn money toward that week of glory when the Senior trip takes place. The biggest event that has happened to this hearty, fearless group was the play called, 'Lucindy Peek from Cabbage Neck , a delightful bit of humor. This year the Junior Class sponsored the most looked-forward-to event of the school year, the Junior-Senior Prom called 'Moonlight and Roses , held at the new Student Center at Western. The class flower is Yellow Carnation and their motto ie, 'Any job big or small, we'l1 do it well, or not at all. The class officers ares Dave Brant President, Harlow Bailey Vice President, Linda Moyle Secretary, and Jim Stommen Treasurer. The class sponsors are Miss Jerger and Mr. Donnelly.
