Sophomore Class Notes The school year started with seventeen pupils enrolling as Sophomores Our class advisor was Mrs Harriman At our first meeting we chose the following officers President Delores Peters Vice President Sharon Estes Secretary and Treasurer Theresa Spratt The annual Freshman Reception was held September 20, at which we made approximately thirty dollars We were glad to welcome Christine Cahill from Easton to our class during the eleventh week of school Jeanette Raymond left us March 8 to move to West Enfield The class gave her a farewell party in the lunch room We have sold fudge and apples during the winter and are planning to sell black and orange pencils during the spring Freshman Notes The Freshman Class started the year of 1950 51 with twenty members A President Robert McLeod Vice President Lewis Belanger Secretary Wilbur Green Treasurer Maxine Ouelette At the end of our second week in high school the Sophomore class held fine reception for us at the Community Hall Joann Shedd, our Freshman Candidate, won the Carnival Queen Title and was crowned at the dance following the carnival at Medway Boys and girl taking part in basketball were Douglas McCafferty Wilbur Green, Durwood Shedd Lewis Belanger, Sandra Osgood, Alice Joy Connie Richard, Myrna McCafferty, and Sheila Burke Cheerleaders from our class were Connie Richard Myrna McCafferty, and Sheila Burke We have had concessions at several basketball games, and a box social 12 - ' . .t our first class meeting we elected the following officers: . . a y . . , .
