A TIME FOR US A time for us Someday there'll be When chains are torn By courage bom Of a love that's free. A time when dreams So long denied Can flourish as we Unveil the love we know must hide. A time for us At last you see A life worthwhile For you and me. And with our love Through tears and thorns We will endure As we pass surely through every storm. A time for us There'll someday be A new world A world of shining hope for you and me. 36 DIRIGO Mary Mallett, Debbie Bean, Laura Dill, Mellissa McCafferty, and Nancy Perry. Sheryl Phinney was absent. Paul Emery, Frank McLaughlin, Michael Fletcher, Victor Jipson, Daryl Fleming and John Keller. 37 IN APPRECIATION OF MR. HOLMES AND MR. FLETCHER THE BUILDER A builder builded a temple, He wrought it with grace and skill, Pillars and spans and arches All fashioned to work his will. Men said, as they saw its beauty, It shall never know decay: Great is thy skill, O Builder! Thy fame shall endure for aye ! A teacher builded a temple With loving and infinite care, Planning each arch with patience, Laying each stone with prayer. None praised his unceasing efforts, None knew of his wondrous plan, For the temple the teacher builded Was unseen by the eyes of man. Gone is the Builder's temple Crumpled into the dustj Low lies each stately pillar Food for consuming rust. But the temple the teacher builded Will last while the ages roll, For that beautiful unseen temple Was a youth's immortal soul. Author Unknown o F.H.A FRONT ROW: Mrs. Webster, L. Lyon, P. In the past couple of years we wouldn't have had a basketball team at all if it wasn't for her. We appreciate all the time that she was able to put in with us. The team worked very hard this season, but we never could of had such an enjoyable and successful year without her. 66 Thank you Mrs. Coombs THE TEAM ALL-SCHOOL CLASS FRESHMEN Liz Butterfield Jimmy Wotton F A V 0 R I T E S SOPHOMORES Nadia Carlow Bobby Butler 69 JUNIORS Peggy Moore Tom Whitney SENIORS Betsy Cole Frank McLaughlin SPRING SPORTS GIRLS' SOFTBALL FRONT ROW: Lew-Ann Gemme, R.
