FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT To Mattanawcook Students and Faculty: I am very glad in this school. There are many differences be- tween my Costa Rican school and Mattanawcook School. This year will be a great experience for me. I knowing a lot of things about the United States and especially about the people. In this school I have found a lot of friends and stupen- dous teachers. Really it's a small school and town, but this is ad- vantage because I will do my work better. These three first months I didn't tell you too much about my country because I had to study harder and had not a very good pronunciation, but I expect later to explain you more about my country and my people. I have found also found a great welcome and a great friendship; you have caused me a great impression and admiration. My viewpoints not always will be the same as yours, but try to understand why you do some things a certain way. I will be grateful to you and, when I'll come back I’ll tell the great experiences that I have with you and the great heart you have. Walk together, talk together O ye people of the earth Then and only then, shall you have peace. Thank you very much, Rodelgo Brenes (Rudy) Never-to-be forgotten bonds stretch from Lin- coln to Latin America. Rudolpho Brenes, our first A .F .S. exchange student from Costa Rica has taught us much about life in Latin America. Rudy will be long remembered as the A .F .S. student who was so friendly to everyone. The Seniors are very proud to have had him in their class.
