Sophomore Class The Sophomore Class elected their officers at the first meeting and were: President, Giffie Brown; Vice President, Bruce Goding; Secretary, Pat Downs; Treasurer, Alan Lane. Sue Coburn and Tommy Whalen were our candidates for King and Queen of Sportsmanship. We were represented in all school athletics. As our money making projects we had a very successful dance and held several fudge sales. freshman Class The Freshman Class began their first year at M.A. with an enrollment of 120 students. Class officers elected were: Cathy Stevens, President; Robert Brown, Vice President; Eva Bennett, Secretary-Treasurer. Elaine Jordan, Allen Currier and Phyllis Blake were elected to the Student Council. The Freshmen were participants in several activities during the year. Among them were: football, basketball, cheering, ski team, band, majorettes, chorus, girl's and boy's bowling leagues, and various organizations in school.
