Sophomore Class The Sophomore Class officers were chosen during the last meeting of our Freshman class. They were: President, Daniel Aiken; Vice-President, Natalie Smith; Secretary, Maralie Fogg; Treasurer, Linda Arthurs. We raised money by sponsoring fudge sales. Dorothy Stevens was chosen as our candidate for Winter Carnival Queen. Douglas Hurd was crowned King. Members of our class participated in both Varsity and Jayvee basketball and cheering, football, chorus, band, Drama club, and Student Council.

Class of 1963 Juniors The Junior Class officers this year were: Dougie Ludden, President; Jane Gilpatrick, Vice-President; Susan Brown, Secretary; Ranny Reed, Treasurer. Susanne Dudley, Jackie Dennison, Sue Goding, and Mike St. Thomas were the Student Council mem- bers. The Junior Class was well represented in all activities. Jody Thomas, Danny Smith, and Mike St. Thomas were on the Varsity Basketball squad. Ranny Reed, Ralph Bowers, and Tommy McLaughlin were on the J.V. Basketball squad. Chosen to the Football squad were Paul Shedd, Co-Capt.; Jeff Moody, Co-Capt.; Jody Thomas, Doug Shorey, Clarence White, Ralph Bowers, and Kenny Hanscom. Those on the Ski Team were Russell Williams, Tommy Ciarrochi, Barry Crocker, and Colina Morrill. Janet Ste- vens, Jackie Dennison, Carole McLaughlin, Jane Gilpatrick, and Susan Brown were Varsity Cheerleaders. Colina Morrill was leader of the Majorettes. Freshman Class The Freshman Class began their first year at M. A. with an enrollment of 115 stu- dents. Class officers elected were: Stephen Freeman, President; Susan Coburn, Vice- President; Linda Bowers, Secretary-Treasurer. Carol Joy, Darcy O'Brian and Charles Whitten were elected to the Student Council. The freshmen were participants in several activities during the school year. Among these were football, basketball, cheerleading, ski team, band, majorettes, chorus, girls' and boys' bowling leagues, and various organizations in school. The freshmen chose Penny Lancaster as their successful Winter Carnival Queen can- didate.
