STANDING: Carol Joy, Joan Leen, Kathy Clay, Charlie Whitten, Mike St. Thomas, Jeff Goding, Dave Edge- comb, Marilyn Wyman, Mr. Elroy, Darcy O'Brian. On May 15, 1961, elections were held by the student body to choose Student Coun- cil members and the president, Michael Kelley. At the first meeting on September 12, 1961, Susanne Dudley was chosen vice-presi- dent, and Jackie Dennison, secretary. Projects for the year were the Magazine Drive, Winter Carnival, and the selling of Lynx pins. Two folding tables and a pair of skis were also bought for the school. Other activities included revising the Mattanawcook Academy Handbook and send- ing five delegates to the State Student Council Convention in Gorham.
