We, the student body of Mathis High School, dedicate the 1951-52 Annual to Coach Rich, who has taught us to play the game in the spirit of fairness and good sportsmanship, on or off the playing field. He has shown us that by working diligently we shall be rewarded. We are deeply grateful for his willingness to help our school at all times. We appreciate his years of service. He h as also taught us to accept victory with humility and defeat with a smile. He has taught us the meaning of the word hustle . However gratuitous his time or effort, we are grateful.
