Seniors One of the nicest classes -- is a general comment made about seniors around School. We certainly have gotten along well together. We have been very successful in our undertaking from the 8th grade throughout senior year. We have learned our lessons well and we feel we are ready to move on to bigger things. Our days at Mat¬ hews High School will always be happily recalled. We are grateful to family, friends, and certainly to the faculty. We are grateful to the administration that has made all this possible. Senior Officers: Paulette Morgan, Treasurer; Lynne Sadler, Secretary; Steve Layton, President; Lewis Stephens, Vice President; Jeannie Hudgins, Reporter; Roz Hammons, Chaplain. iz Sm PB4af. : Mi fiEtf’Slr VkiK-i!.!- •’ VtL? 1 p f t ? w 3k raj 1 riTT t V ‘A fej j - ' V‘ T‘- 1? vii. - b • r vl , - Tl 1 H- ■ ' ; V ' ?; J 1 f ■ • ! pt%£ hrff : . ra? Coached by Mrs. White, Rita, Lynn and Steve prepare for the American Legion Oratorical Contest --a tough decision, Rita won. This year we started two hour classes which were well received by stu¬ dents and faculty alike. We feel we accomplished so much more and we have all benefited from this. Al¬ though we have had much publicity for our winning ways this year -- our greatest accomplishments have been in the academic field.
