V.s hit the autumn dirt hard and came through the line for the cleanest athletic record of the year: 8 losses and 0 wins. The boys were a large and hardworking crew but were a bit green due to the high percentage of Freshmen who had little experience. The large turnout indicated interest in the sport and representing the school. Many of the sturdy chaps are expected back next season to kick the pigskin with all and more of 57's vim'n vigor and chalk up some wins.
