OPEN YOUR EYES: Joe Kuhn, senior, plays the sec- ond ranked in the state, the Central Bears. MD defeated the Bears 9-4. Kuhn split his time be- tween first base and pitching. TAKE THATI: During the MD vs. Reitz baseball game, Rich Niemeier pitched against some athletes he has played baseball with for many years. Niemeier has played baseball for 12 years.
