Dedication 3i : y f , , , r 1 in l Q5 ,,,y ii X .. , Yi .g,Q . 5 is ' it r S N, During an eight year period of growth and progress-one of the significant features of Mater Dei that received much comment was the unusual yearbooks that consistently appeared Behind each one of those phenomenal books as one per- son put it, was a phenomenal woman, Sister M. Angela, O.S.B., who was outstanding not only in this field of Jour- nalism but also in any other field one might care to mention. Sister, yearbook and newspaper advisor, Journalism and English teacher, head librarian and dramatics assistant-having charge of costume, scenery and script writing-had a large reputation for being able to make almost anything out of nothing. What looked like a bunch of scraps to the ordinary eye of an ordinarily talented person, magically turned into the con- tents of a beautiful yearbook page or the background for a striking stage set under the swift and skillful strikes of this intelligent and far, far sighted woman. Though Sister would never allow her picture or name to be associated with any of her fascinating products, the usual comment was, You can see Sister Angela in this alrightl Sister was transferred to another school this year, and is, no doubt, proving her powers in the same way there. In loving gratitude for her loyal service we gladly cledi- cate to her our book so that, though she is not around to help us turn scraps into jeweled pages, we can iust one more time hear it said, You can see Sister Angela in this alright!
