The float was a replica of the miracle at Lourdes. Sharon Richardt portrayed the Blessed Virgin, Dee Dee Hollingsworth represented St. Bemadette. Yvonna McBride, Bill Luigs and Bettye Jo Goebel were students praying to the Blessed Virgin. Bill Muensterman and Steve Sanford are praying to be cured, while nurse, Sharon Hoffman, is assisting them. Sister Mary Esther, O. S. B., is proudly displaying the second place trophy that the float won. The M. D. band under the direction of Mr. Robert Hormuth also entered the Fall Festival. Their marching and playing was rewarded by second place honors. Mr. Hormuth displays their trophy. The band also performs during half time at all home football games.
