C'mon down! — Anita Idicula We don't carry filth! — John Doby Moonlighting Up. down and all around town, familiar faces pop up m many stores and restaurants A lot of students besides going to school, work for a living For them twenty four hours is never enough because it is so difficult to work, go to school, do homework participate m activities and spend time with the family all m one day But working pays off Money enables them to attend college, to travel, to buy a car. to buy new clothes, and especially to buy a yearbook' Even though working doesn't leave these hard working students a whole lot of time they would probably say it is worth it. 9

tiles! — Anonymous Dress You Up Summer was over, we had to go back Because if we didn't we'd get lots of flak. And when we returned to start the new year What to our wondering eyes should appear But an explosion of colors and paislies and plaids Which were quickly becoming the greatest new fads. Big flower prints and roses galore. Shakerkmts. sunglasses, pins and much more Madonna and Springsteen gave impressions to copy With bright, gaudy jewelry and tee-shirts so floppy Haircuts were taking on brand-new dimensions But the bob and the pixie still held our attentions Reeboks and Guess took the country by storm And it didn't take Matawan long to conform. Some other new looks that appeared on the scene Were jeans that were printed in blue, black, and green. Palm trees and stirrup pants and flowered satin blazers — This school most surely was looking like lasers.
