IN MEMORY HARVEY LAUTOURETTE Life is strange and continues to go on. People die and people cry. but it still goes on and on. I have experienced death before, as I did the other day. when a teacher, no, a friend of mine, died, he passed away. We talked about many things, just as all friends do. people, places, things to do. and “hey whats new with you”. Every day I'd stay after class, he really made my day. but when I heard that he had died. I just began to pray. I hoped to God that it wasn't true, though it didn't do much good for when I read it in the black and white the facts said he was dead. No more staying after class, no more chits and chats. I know I’ll miss him very much. I'm very sure of that. F;vcry time I pass that physics room I just get so depressed, I think of that nice old man full of spirit and cheerfulness. The other day I lost a friend who I’ll never see again.
