Proudly Dedicate Pillar 76 Zo Parry Kizzo An honest, hard working coach for the past twenty years at Matawan Regional Mr. Barry Rizzo has come up with success year after year. This year he coached taught, and led the Huskies to a perfect 11-0 record. The Huskies won the Central Jersey Group IV championship, and a ranking of number one in the state from The Daily News, and The Star Ledger. Mr. Rizzo won Coach of the Year from the Daily Register,— not to mention the team winning the Rutgers Cup. The Huskies appeared on Channel 52 twice, including the 7-0 championship game against Colonia, (also undefeated at the time), a game which many people believe to be the best high school football game ever played in New Jersey. Most of all, Mr. Rizzo, and his team, added spirit to the town, the likes of which we may nev- er see again. Who'll ever forget the bus ride home from Colonia? Who'll ever forget the parade? Who'll ever forget the celebration at the school? We'll never forget this year or Mr. Rizzo. We're proud to dedicate this yearbook to not only a great coach but to a great man. GARY WEBER— My four years with Mr. Rizzo have surely been enjoyable and rewarding. I have great respect for him and shall always feel indebted to him for his guidance and considera- tions. Most of all I cherish our friendship. VINNIE MIGLIORE— He inspired me a great deal during my high school career. There is nothing more that can be said about Mr. Rizzo than, He's a great man. RICK BUTLER— Mr. Rizzo is one of the best coaches in the state. He's dedicated to his staff, the town, and his players. He is a very honest man. COACH BRITTON— He's the finest, most honest man I've ever met. JOE MOORE-- He's the best, that's why we're number one. KEITH ROBINSON— I want to do it again and he's the man to do it with! j
