Senior Carla La Grassa Senior Denise Williams Senior Pewy Yules Senior Carol Shaw Enthusiasm was the key word for describing the spirit of the 1969-70 cheerleading squad. Throughout the football and basketball seasons, our cheerleaders, led by Captain Peggy Godwin and Co-captain Audrey Anderson, were definitely a boost to everyone. The excitement inspired by them at the pep rallies and bonfire as well as the games helped contribute to one of the Huskies most successful seasons.

The Bonfire Kicks Off The Thanksgiving Weekend Our thanks to the Block M If possible. MRHS has once again, outdone itself in starting of Homecoming Weekend with the enthu- siasm it deserves. The 1969 bonfire was by far the most'’ bonfire in years. The most eggs, most firemen, most enthusiasm and of course, most fun. A special word of thanks goes to the Block M men for making it all possible and to the twenty-one cheer leaders for carrying on the enthusiasm that it began with. Class of '71 can you top it? Impossible!
