Dedication Thank you, Mrs. Mary W. Oakley, for the years of your life given us in order that we might become more fully educated than could possibly have been the case without your inspiration and love. We live by the examples set for us by the people we respect. Not only do we feel for you deep affection but also very great respect. Consequently, much of the living which we do is derived from your example. We feel that the impact of your teachings upon our personalities is important not only because you have for years been teaching us about life, but also be- cause you have stressed throughout our years of association that you have thought us important. Mrs. Oaklcv, you received your Bachelor’s Degree from Wilson College, and also attended Newark State College. You earned your Masters Degree from Pennsylvania State University. Moreover, you have for many years taught biology' and served as the mast distinguished chairman of our Science Depart- ment. Finally, your expert direr'ion of annual Sci- ence Fairs constantly adds lustre to the reputation of our school as a living force in Matawan. May you always be as happy here with us and with the legions of students who will follow at Mata- wan Regional High School, as we are to have had you, as a teacher, for this book, Mary W. Oakley, is dedicated to you.
