foreword T' t° To all graduates, their Senior Prom, their class rings, and their senior pictures are the glorious features of their linal, fleeting moments in high school—moments whose memories will accompany them to adulthood and remain with them until seen indelibly written in the Book of Life. So, at Matawan. the year 1958 will mark the end of four years of precious memories'—fond memories of joy and sadness, of triumph and defeat, of problems and the solutions we found no- where so surely as with our teachers. But. as a lighthouse beam penetrates the shadow of night, one bright light shines through the memories the years have brought. It is the wisdom of the teachers of Matawan that has rounded out four years of sludv for us. When recounting the advancement made in Matawan High School during the past half century, mention must be made of a former student. Under the inspired leadership and enlightening advice of Mr. Frank I lovvard Lloyd, Sr., our class has been well guided.
