Sections 4nct Impressions . .. What exactly are they? The dictionary defines them as events or actions that will remain in someone’s mind. An impression can be anything one wants it to be. Impressions are easy to define, but how does one tie impressions and seniors together? The class of 88; how exactly do we make impressions? There is no doubt that the class of 88 is a wild crew. It is obvious how the two fit together. Remember when senior M. Paciello dressed up as a woman on dress-up day? Now, that was funny, and also a good target for an impression. Spirit week was a good time for impressions. The seniors dressed up to the theme of street life, the juniors wore togas, the winners of the day, the sophomores, were nerds, and the freshmen were all decked out. Many impressions were created for Masuk’s more spirited and crazy students. Dress-up day was not the only day for impressions; there was also hat day. Walking down the hall on that day was a unique experience. Many Masuk students would just stop and laugh at some of the more creative hats, such as H. Tait’s fruit hat. Without having to designate a specific day of craziness throughout the school, we try to find other impressions. Trying to find them isn’t hard, they just seem to emerge. Remember the homecoming game and the preceding pep assembly? Those were full of fun impressions. Winding up the whole week’s antics, was the first dance in Masuk’s history to be held in the gym. Because it was held in the gym, the students attending were required to remove their shoes. Despite this, the homecoming dance was incredibly fun and very successful. Impressions . . .
