High spirits continued through Friday as Masuk-ers showed their true colors — red, white, and you, remember? The gym- nasium was abuzz as underclassmen stood awaiting the traditional Senior entrance. With a thunderous roar, the Class of '87 paraded around and finally took their seats in the bleachers. Class spirit shined as the assembly progressed. Confetti filled the air when students rush- ed the floor and danced along with the cheerleaders. The cheer- ing continued as the Homecom- ing King and Queen, Monty D. and Julie A., along with their royal court, were crowned. Seniors took the throne once again, with the honor of winning the Battle of the Halls. The . most ex- hilarating moment was when the classes competed in the most spirit contest. At a designated time, each class cheered and chanted their loudest. Despite ef- forts of other classes, the Juniors walked away with the victory. Amongst these many victories, the greatest of all was Friday night's shut-out, when Masuk took another win (37-0) against the Central Catholic Cavaliers!! ▲ Winners of the spirit contest, the |rs. attentively look on and anticipate their award of two-minute early dismissal from Monday's classes. ▼ ◄ The victorious Seniors get psyched and celebrate at pep rally — lovin' every minute of it! ► Tubas and the band helped blow C.
