Decking the halls . . . . . . were streamers, ghosts, balloons, and bats, all conveying in one way or another the assorted themes for Hall Day, which was developed only six years ago. Ghostbusters, the senior choice won first place. The juniors displayed Masuk Pride ' emblazoning the halls with red and white. Sophomores created a jungle within U-hall's corridor, portraying a super Safari. Finally, the freshmen decorated with black and orange for their theme, Halloween. No one could be prouder ... than all the students who wore red and white on Friday, October 19, in celebration of the Homecom- ing game that night. The Pep Rally was regarded as one of the best Masuk has had in the past few years. Although the seniors won the two-minute early class dismissal for the following Tuesday, all the classes displayed boundless energy. All decked out . . . the Panthers surely had someplace to go. They shut out the Brookfield Bobcats by a score of 20 to 0, thus Spirit Week ended with icing on the cake. Top: Kathy Tomena and Cindy Cedergren: The true decoration is on the floor. Bottom Left: Confident, secure Kati Buettecher raises her hand. Bottom Right: Steve Ayles, Tim Fox, and Kurt Basset prophesy the fate of the Brookfield Bobcats. Anniversary
