In looking back four years, we can remember the first day we entered high school as freshmen facing a challenge and willing to accept it. It was the start of a time of transition for all of us, a time that would firmly develop individual personalities, characters, and potentials; a time that was guided by a willing faculty, new friends, high ideals, and an in- tangible feeling known as spirit. This strong class and school spirit has led our class to achieve success in all areas; scholastic, personal and others. In the four years at Masuk High School, the Class of 71 has achieved the goal we set as freshmen: “Strength through Spirit.” As the time has come for us to meet a new challenge, we look back only so that we may better see the road ahead of us. That we came to Masuk seeking knowledge; now we leave, ready to impart it. We also see that we came seeking maturity and now we leave with a solemn sense of our responsibility to ourselves and others. To the classes behind us, we leave the hope that they will continue to seek change in a positive direction and strive towards new horizons for the good of mankind. To each of my fellow classmates, I wish you the fulfillment of all your dreams, and, with the help of your God, may you find peace and happi- ness, and share it with the world. 10
