Miss ELIZABETH BROOKE COCHRAN Gln thr Seninra OU are going to meet many people, have many experiences and make many decisions after you have left Dobbs. There will be times when it will be difficult to hold to the standards you have now set up. However, you will not find these difficulties beyond you because time will unfold and lay before you certain strengths you did not even know.you were absorbing during your time here. I say this to you, not only because of my assurance of what you have gained, but as a result of visiting many Dobbs alumnae all over the country. They have realized after the passage of time, the things you are yet to enjoy. Most of them have been able to master the art of living. Emily Dickinson once described the art of living as being singular in plural circum- stancesf' And so, as you go into the plural circumstances beyond Dobbs, remember to be singular, and to keep your integrity in every act and thought- no matter how small-no matter how great. You will then be assured of success. My very best wishes to all of you, Class of 1952. vmfi..z.E1..,
