The Miss Massillonian Chapel was held on January 11 and was set as an Evening in Parisf, Previous to the chapel an election was in Nov- ember. At the first basketball rally the red roses were presented to the ten candidates by the can- didates for Outstanding Senior Boy. The master of ceremonies was Mr .L. P. Kemp, who introduced each of the ten candi- dates and their escorts. The band ensemble under the direction of Orin Dykaev Ford provided the music throughout the program. Each couple Was welcomed to the stage by the three judges, Mrs. Edith Frey, Mr. Sal Butera, and Mr. Ioe Shorr. The girls were judged on beauty, poise, per- sonality, and ability to answer questions.
