Without specific goals and a definite effort to achieve them, activity, regardless of its nature, loses its purpose. No less important is the knowledge that in our mod- ern, complicated world we must learn how to live and work together. Now you face the future with the training and experiences of your high school education. It covers the many fields of activity and endeavor, schol- astic and extra-curricular, that go to make up a high school education. Let us not forget that as we go through life, we are always in the process of making a record. It may not always be as neatly packaged as this, but it is there just the same. Let us do our utmost to be sure it is a good one.
