Mr. H elfer MR. WILSON'S MESSAGE They're real Americans. Can anyone tl1ink of a better compliment that can be given to a group? As Americans we have many responsibilities. These we must accept if we are to be worthy of the name given us. During the next year we will be asked to give up many things and do many, many tasks. Whatever or wherever these sacrifices or tasks may be let's not be found wanting. Let's all be real Americans. lVlr. Ehle MR. HELFEIPS MESSAGE To all of the Massena High School young people wl1o are serving and who will serve in the armed forces and on the home front of our country: the knowledge they have received will fit them for the various skilled services they will performg the values they have accepted will give them the conviction that we must wing and their faith in God will assure them that principles of justice and brotherhood will prevail. Massena is happy in the confidence that each will do his duty. Mr. Wilson MR. EHLE'S MESSAGE livery girl and boy in our high school can con- tribute to the winning of this war. You already know many of tl1e things you can do. The buying of war stamps, aircraft spott.ing, building of scale model aircraft, home nursing, gardening, air raid services, salvaging metals, and conserving food and clothing are activities that must be continued. But most of all, take advantage of your present opportunities to build strong minds and healthy bodies so you will be able to take your place in the America of the future. 6
