National Honor Society In order to obtain membership in the National Honor Society, a student must display exceptional qualities of leadership, character, scholarship, and service, which comprise an integral and vital part of Massapequa High School. This year's society has been involved in many activities. One such project was the sale of soda at the football games to raise money for the Mark Lustig Scholarship Fund. Plans were also made for a trip into the city to see an off-Broadway prod- uction. The tutoring service, under the direction of Tom Santry, was available to all students desiring assistance with their schoolwork. The accessibil- ity of the members and their willingness to extend themselves to students has always been a hall- mark of the National Honor Society.
