The four interior sets in The Mfzlrlmnzker boasted of the professional tech- nique these students employed. OR those pupils interested in art this club affords a creative outlet and the opportunity to experiment and acquire skill in many different media such as oils, watercolors, and pastels. The ultimate selection of material is governed by the student's own interests. One of the features of the club's program this year was a spring exhibit.

This study also aided them in the many tests required for college entrance and college scholar- ships. O the mathematician, the slide rule is Al source of obtaining a rapid calculation. The Slide Rule Club was formed with the objective of aiding students to meet the challenge of this mathematical tool and to operate it properly and efficiently. After thorough instruction, the students work on their own, solving problems.

Not only do they become proticient in the use of adding machines and typewriters, but they learn other means to business success. Special films and guest speakers, as well as a yearly trip to an elementary school for observation, help acquaint members with problems of education in general and those of teachers in particular. This year our local F. T. A. played host, in November, to the Long Island Future Educators and sent a delegate, in May, to the New York State Convention.
