HIS year archery has been one of Massapequa's most popular girls' sports. So many prospec- tive Robin Hoods turned out that the competition for spots on the team was the keenest Massapequa has known. The result of this enthusiasm was a superb group of archers, among whom Diane Guida and jane Schwartz were outstanding. These William Tells can be counted on to adorn the targets with Massapequa feathers. ARCHERY HONOR TEAM C. Barnes. R. Saretsky. D. Guida. C. Hanna. TENNIS Adziirn'-Mrs. Storch DID YOU LOCK THE GATE? URPASSED in skill, possibly, but unsurpassed in spirit, the girls of the tennis club met twice a week and diligently practiced their serves and smashes. Even though this sport was newly intro- duced to the Physical Education Department, the girls made a good showing in competition with neighboring schools. Tennis is a very popular activity and has a great carry-over value. The department heartily recom- mends that all girls participate in tennis some time during their high school years.
