UR ardent radio enthusiasts studied the fundamentals at radio and code to enable them to take the F. C. C. examination. They also made application for a station license so that Massapequa High will eventually have its own radio station. To help prepare them tor their humanitarian career, the Future Nurses of America have studied basic care of the sick, have served as nurses' aides in local hospitals, and have observed the techniques used in the larger municipal hospitals. Kager L I B R A R Y C L U B Those Dewey decimals! HE Library Club consisted of twenty-five boys and girls who worked voluntarily in the library five periods a week. Besides assisting their fellow students in the use of materials, these library aides charged out books and kept the collection in order and repair. All was not work with this busy group. A Book Week reception for the Faculty was held in November, and a party was given the club members by the Massapequa Public Library at Christmas time. President ..,,. , ,....., .,..,,... UR senior pins and hats, our banners and emblems, our Regents review books were all sold to us by a member of the Distributive Education Club. But selling was only one of the club's activi- ties. Field trips, conferences, and charity drives also kept the members hopping. The D. E. C. is to be congratulated for the success of the Christmas Basket Proiect. The club's goodwill toward men was made mani- fest to all.
