Optimistic, Involved Captain Wilson Set Apart From The Rest Of The Crowd The Class of 1984 dedicates this edition of the MUSTER to Catain Al Wilson. From Company Officer to Head Football Coach to Career Placement Director. Captain Wilson has clearly been involved with student life at MMA. Starting m 1972 as Company Officer, he worked hand in hand with the Cadet Regiment, teaching leadership and responsiblities. As Chief Mate of the Training Ship, he worked more exclusively with Deck Cadets, preparing them to be Mates. Moving up from Assistant Com- mandant to Assistant to the President, rank did not pull him away from Cadets, but tied him closer to us. striving to help us reach our goals. Now, as Placement Director, he is working for our futures, the most important part of our life here at MMA. We came to MMA alone- just old enough to have a past, yet still scrambling for identity and accep- tance. We came with tentative plans for a permanent future. Unmold- ed.
