FORE PVORD HE Board of Editors representing the Class of 1906 of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, present: to Technology men and to their friends this Twentieth Volume of TECHNIQUE. The general character of such an annual must of necessity remain the same from year to year, hut an endeafoor has heen made to hrighten the interior hy the use of an increased amount of color work. It has heen our effort to hring out a hook characteristic of all that is best and of most enduring value in our life lzere, and one that would emphasize and gifve 'voice to that 'vein of pleasantness and humor which, despite the seeming monotony of our daily work, does exist in large measure for those who would jind it. In conclusion we wish to extend our thanks to all those who hafve helped make this hook what it is.
