It’s a delivery!” BOSTOH 1 CITY hospital Onto the table — legs up and out No longer will there be any doubt. Whether boy or girl it soon will be clear. We hold our breath, the time is near. He presents himself from head to toe. Usually with a yelp to let us all know. The mystery is clear, the suspense is over — It’s a boy! Let’s hear it for good ole Doc Grover! M ummy is gleejul! Daddy is proud! And soon will arrive the grandparent crowd. ’’Such a pretty baby but he’ll be grown soon.” Dad says, “Pretty! He looks like a prune!” Mom gets some rest — exhausted completely, W Idle baby is dy-deed and tucked in bed sweetly. Because she was prim ip I missed dinner — Curse it! But Td have to admit it was certainly worth it. Back to the dorm, we pick up our texts. W e turn the pages and again we are vexed! From conception to birth, the theory’s been learned A nd maybe with luck an A will he learned. 43 44 V We know you ' re scared. You miss Mummy and Daddy and your bed. Nothing seems right and your little-big world is crumbling. So many new faces — young and old New smells and sounds, Machines, Everything ' s different — The food, the toys. 1 may hurt hut we will try to make it all be over soon so you can go hack home. With a kiss on the cheek and a hand on yours, we will hold you and show you that we care and love. OR They were new and seemed quite green. They looked like quite a collection.
