Following an announcement from Gov. Sargent that no new teachers would be hired in th State College System for 1972- 73, the Orientation Committee established last Tuesday tha CLEP examinations woul help alleviate the problem o overcrowding in freshma courses. The CLEP program i geared to all college-leve courses. Freshme examinations concern the' basic subjects of English composition, history, science, math, and humanities.
