It attempts to educate and train citizens of good repute in the safe and eflicient handling of firearms, in the technique of design, production, and group instruction. Generally, it encourages the lawful ownership and use of small arms by citizens. The executive board of the student council elects an athletic chairman who in turn selects a committee. The committee is alotted a budget and is charged with providing a competitive intermural sports program for the student body. Schedules run from fall to spring and include football, basketball, hockey, bowling, tennis, golf, and softball.
