STUDENT A CTI VI TIES COMMITTE Chairman - George Harden Rosemary Guarino Members - Barry Karas George McGee Fred Albrandi Helen Dworkin Neem, The Student Activities Committee is a standing commit- tee of the Student Government Association consist- ing of a chairman, who is appointed by the Presi- dent of the Student Council, and Hve members all of whom work under the direction of the Student Activities Advisor. Its goals are to develop a well- 'rounded activities calendar, socially, culturally, and educationally, to involve as many students as possi- ble in the learning process which the Student Ac- tivities Program offers and to contribute to the planning, organization and execution of all student activities, The committee's specific responsibilities are to ap- point a chairman for each social, cultural and ath- letic event, to set-up an activities calendar, to act as a liaison to the Student Council, to serve as ac- tivities consultants to students and faculty, to con- tinually evaluate and re-evaluate the activities pro- gram by conferring with student committees and clubs and reviewing Final reports, and of utmost importance, to constantly strive for better public re- lations - a more efficient method of communicat- ing with Student Council, student body, faculty and outside guest. DRAMA CL UB The Drama Club of MBCC presented its first three-act play, Come Blow Your Horn, on December 4 and 5. This play was such a tremendous success that the Club presented a Hne musical in the spring for the student body. The year's activities also included three theatre parties to present to the students more understanding of the live theatre. The Club shares part of the humanities bulletin board in illustrating important theatrical events within the Boston locale.
