After P with our heads in the clouds for a few weeks,we finally settled f r colle e ears. In order to show that college wasn't walking around down to the beginning 0 011 8 Y all academic the sophomores gave us our first taste of social life at the Orienta- 7 tion Dance fwhat a lasting tastej. . n . Then came the school elections which showed the birth of our true college spirit. A short time after the campaign, we all suffered the loss of our beloved President Kennedy as well as one of our wonderful faculty members, Dr. Parnell, which left a very somber note for all of us. Before long the talent of our class was introduced to all at the dramatic presenta- tion of Legend at also our class experienced its first college Hootenanny. The joyous brought with it the annual Christmas Dance and the was enjoyed by all. We'll never forget E539 QI? january of 1964 which our first college finals. fAfter five days of taking No-Doz, it was ygpggven that there were 33'Zn fewer students at- tending MBCCJ. Next came the highlighggigs forygixougggigltalian friends, The Spaghetti Dinner Dance. , . 572 .f .JF x A is Si ' Then once again our at the annual Variety Show where faculty as well as students the social life of our freshman year was the Freshman Hgh was held at the Sheraton Plaza and was featured by the crownin f and queen, Ann and Vznryf. Even though our frwhm fiiXWaifrii nded officially, our school spirit still contin- ued on through the summer in the preparation of a successful orientation pro- gram for the incoming freshman class. We finally reached the threshold of our sophomore year fthat is, we who finally made itj. After a hard fought' election battle,-Jim Betterrbecame our S,G.A. Presi- dent for the ensuing- year. The presentation of the. gavel took 'place at 'the' Elec- tion Dance. At the ,Halloween Masquerade. Dance, our .auditorium was invaded by our own witches and goblins. Also the Drama Club certainly excelled that fall ,in its fine presentation of Come Blow Your Hornf' Our class' will never forget the glowing faces of the children at the annual Or- phans' Party which gave Christmas a deeper meaning to us all. Gaiety and splendor was shared by all at the Holbe Ball. After the tedious weelgsx gfinals, all participated in outdoor sports at Killington, Vermont, unveiling of many unknown Olympic stars.
