Gunners had quite a season this year, turning in with a 5 win, 5 loss record. They had a chance to be the Fayette County Class B. Champs but lost out and settled being Co-Champs. They scored 145 points to 1741 scored by opponents and placed three boys on the Fayette County B Team and one on the All County Team. 44 1 Q ABE LINCOLN Made the All-County Class B Team. He played right end offense and outside line-backer on defense. Abe was a fine pass receiver, blocker tackler and was also the Gunners' Captain. HOWARD GREENE Was one of our speedsters.
