The journalism Club, with a membership of 28, is responsible for the monthly appearance of the M.H.S. Commentator which is in its nineteenth year of publication. The school paper was awarded fourth place in Mimeographed Senior High Newspapers among schools with an enrollment between 251 - 500, by the Pennsylvania School Press Association at its 25th Anni- versary Convention held at Allentown, Pa., on November 10th and 11th, 1950. The Certificate of Award is on display in the home room of Edith Nlagalotti, adviser of the school paper. janet Frankhouser is the Editor-in-Chief as well as the Art Editor of the present staff of the M.H.S.
