HOCI EY The hockey team of 1953-1954 did very well and worked very hard. The high point scorer for the season was Ruby Shepherd with five goalsg Marvie Bloodworth was second with four points. The following girls won sweaters: Phyllis Jarvis. Dottie Jarvis, Kay Jarvis. Mar- cella Dickinson, and Janice Jackson. Manager. Shirley Southard. who won a sweater last year for managing. won a letter this year for playing goalie. Seven other girls won stripes. The girls received their sweaters and stripes at the Basketball and Hockey Banquet. Mrs. Gertrude Thomas Parker was our coach. Janice Jackson. Reporter. FIRST ELEVEN BACK Row.
