Programs hold a most unique place in the life of our school. Near program time. Mrs. Ann Akers. our dramatic art teacher. comes as often as necessary to make our performances a pride and joy. She tries to teach our pupils self-confidence and good expression. A program. to be effective. must appeal to sight as well as to hearing. Mr. Richard Jackson. our art teacher. cre- ates settings that inspire the children and win our audi- ence's praise, Costumes a n cl properties are important to any per- formance. All faculty mem- bers take pride in assisting in everyway possible to make a program at Masonic one that will merit the customary impression: 'They get better every year. MRS. SUTTON INSTRUCTING MARTIN NOWAK DRAMATIC ARTA IC JIM BOB AT THE ORGAN It is the little things that count. The individual work. such as Mrs. Sutton gives to her music pupils. and the hours spent in training the voice are the things that really count. If we. as a fac- ulty. have added any degree of sell-confidence and poise to our students. then we will feel that it was worthwhile.
