School Affiliotioh MASON'S VISITOR FROM OVERSEAS Mason had an unusual privilege during September and October when Miss Lisbeth Kuprat, a teacher from Berlin, Germany, was our honored guest. Paulsenschule has been our partner school since l9h9 under the Affiliation program of the American Friends Service. As a return courtesy for the visit of Miss Jane Barnes, Mason's Affilia- tion advisor in May 1957, Miss Kuprat was given a three months leave by the German Ministry of Education to come to Tacoma. During her time here she visited all our classes as well as Stadium and Lincoln High Schools and several colleges in Washington. She especially enjoyed her trips to see our wonderful scenic attractions. We hope that her glimpse into our life will enable her to interpret Americans to her students and fellow teachers.
