Mason Patrol These Mason Patrol officers under the direction of Mr. Palmer Berge help with the crowded traf- fic conditions at Mason. Front row Helen Lemoine, Norm Cratsenberg, Bob Coyne. Row 2: Charlene McKin- non, Lynn Chapman, Larry Kurmel, Pat Skinner. Arbor Doy In observance of Arbor Day a lovely flowering plum was planted on Mason's south lawn. The plum was a gift from the Washington State Nursery Association, as were the trees for the other six junior highs in Tacoma. Clockwise around the tree are Larry Huff, Barb Rother- mel, Larry Kurmel, Gretchen Vadheim, Merrilin Fulton, Gary Dyer, Carmela Lantiere and Diane McCarty all ninth grade members of the Student Council. Traffic Potrol Traffic Patrol Officers, Mr. C. Kastelle, advisor, Lee Chandler, Charles Johnson, Jean Maltby, David Salvesen and David Abercrombie see that Mason students get safe- ly across the surrounding streets on the to and from school.
